Hello, world (2026 edition)
In the pursuit of sharing ideas and material I've found useful, and as hinted at back in 2019, I have decided to start writing again in an "informal" capacity. I find the longer, free format of markdown posts much more appealing than adding value to <\insert your favorite social network>, and I'm planning to explore how easily I can integrate dynamic elements into these posts to explain ideas or concepts.
Part of this is motivated by the realization that how we teach (broadly defined) will change substantially over the next few years. Part of it is because moving entirely away from conventional publishing of scientific papers is extremely appealing to me, and I'm curious if this is actually something that's feasible (inspired by Andy York's) take on this. In any case, at the very least, doing this has allowed me to revamp and expand my long-standing introduction to machine learning notes (STILL in progress - live and available but not finished yet).
